A court in Chattogram has placed former lawmaker of Chattogram-15 constituency Abu Reza Mohammad Nezamuddin Nadvi on a four-day remand in two separate cases filed under explosive substances act with Lohagara and Satkania police stations.
Nadvi was taken in remand in two days each in two separate cases filed for explosive act in Lohagara and Satkania police stations.
Chattogram Senior Judicial Magistrate Muminunnesa Khanam issued the remand order on Wednesday as police produced Nadvi before the court in two separate cases and pleaded for 3-day remand in each case. After hearing both sides, the court placed Nadvi two days each in two separate cases.
Earlier, on December 15, Dhaka Detective Branch (DB) police arrested Nadvi from Uttara area.
The former lawmaker pad been placed different terms of remand in separate cases, including murder case.
